Nicole Pratt

Hello! My name is Nicole Pratt and I am very excited to be part of the Milestones administration team.  I have been working in the field of early childhood education for the past 25 years in the Grand Rapids area which have included past roles as a classroom teacher, center director as well as non-profit leadership and management.  I hold a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Central Michigan University and currently live in Jenison with my husband and two sons.

My personal philosophy around early childhood education is to create a place for children where they can develop at their own pace while preparing them to be emotionally, socially and academically ready when they reach kindergarten.  I feel at Milestones, children can accomplish this through a play based environment with nurturing staff in a positive atmosphere.    I am a strong believer that a successful partnership involves not only a bond between the teacher and the child but a strong relationship with each family.
