Learning & fun abound for 3 year-olds in our play-based, curricular-focused, Preschool program. Each classroom has a 20 child capacity with a ratio of 1 teacher to every 10 children to ensure that your child has quality care. Every aspect of the classroom is intentionally designed to help your child thrive.
Children in the Preschool room continue to learn and develop through play in the following three areas: socio-emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Socio-emotional growth is fostered through cooperative play. Each child is encouraged to express their feelings to teachers and friends. The development of self-help skills in dressing, toileting, and eating are also emphasized in this classroom. Children develop cognitively as they continue to gain patterning skills, sorting skills, counting and letter/sound recognition. Physical development is cultivated through attention to small and large motor skills incorporated into daily lesson plans. Children sleep in the classroom on cots/mats and enjoy family style meals as a class in the classroom.
