Early Preschool
30/33 months to 36 months
The Early Preschool program provides children 2½ – 3½ years of age with creative, engaging, and authentic learning experiences in a spacious, stimulating, caring environment. Each classroom accomodates 16 children with a ratio of 1:8 to ensure that your child has quality care. Children sleep in the classroom on cots and enjoy family-style meals in their classroom.
Children in the Early Preschool program continue to learn and develop through play in the following three areas: socio-emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Socio-emotional growth is fostered through cooperative play and learning how to share and take turns. The development of self-help skills in dressing, toileting, and eating are also emphasized in this classroom. Children develop cognitively as they memorize words to popular children’s songs and recognize rhyme and repetition in speech, stories, poems, and songs. Physical development is cultivated through attention to small and large motor skills incorporated into daily lesson plans. Every aspect of the classroom is intentionally designed to help your child grow.
