Social - emotional: learning to share and take turns with toys. Children are encouraged to express their emotions vocally to teacher and friends. Begin to take on different roles in dramatic play area. At this age the children begin working on potty training and self-help skills.
Cognitive: memorizing words to popular children�s songs, recognizing rhyme and repetition in speech and song. Able to match pictures to labels, learning sequencing.
Physical: small motor skills such as fitting pegs into small holes, stamping, texture table experiences, cutting and lacing. Large motor climbing, balancing, running, jumping, walking backwards, hopping on one foot.
